Performance Kennels offers a wide range of green detector dogs for use in narcotics, explosives, arson, or fish & game detection.  The majority of our single purpose detector dogs are from the sporting or hunting groups such as Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Spaniels, or a mix thereof.  Imported Malinois or German Shepherd dogs are also available for this very purpose.  Either way, we select highly driven, yet very social dogs whose search skills are unsurpassed.

Our "green" narcotic detector dogs are started with a passive indication for marijuana. Fully trained narcotic detector dogs with passive alert, including handler training is our specialty.

All detector dogs come with a health guarantee as well as health certificate and hip x-rays.  All dogs are guaranteed to be suitable for working as single purpose law enforcement detector dogs when trained and certified according to USPCA or NAPWDA standards.
